A SHORT SURF FILM [An entrant in REELERS 2017]
SHOWCASING THREE OF THE WORLDS TALENTED & UP COMING FEMALE LONGBOARDERS ROISIN CAROLAN, IVY THOMAS AND HALLIE ROHR.
Corona presents REELERS 2017, the Surfing World short film competition, a global search for the freshest talent in surf movie making today.
Enter; Fran Miller with her short film ‘Mood’, featuring in the Action category.
The film explores our changing moods, filmed on location in Byron Bay, Snapper Rocks, Rainbow Bay, Lennox Head, and the Tweed Valley.
Corona and Surfing World have invited budding film makers to submit a 3 minute flick to one of three categories and be judged by three of the biggest names in surf cinema history.
For a chance to light up the silver screen and share in $7500.00 AUD of cash prizes.
With the short films appraised by three of the most influential surf cinematographers of the past five decades; Taylor Steele, Kai Neville and Jack McCoy gracing the judging panel, to unveil the best filmmakers working in our community right now.

Fran is also showing a Solo Exhibition in Coolangatta:
April 1 — 15 2017 with the Opening Night on Saturday 1st April 6:00pm — 9:00pm.
This exhibition of Fran’s work will be her debut solo show on the Gold Coast – the place she lives and works everyday. The photograph’s exhibited here will capture the artists unique eye and offer an insight into life that exists just beyond the red and yellow flags. See more h e r e
